  15. DISTRIBUTION

  17. This program and its associated files are part of an evaluation
  18. package that is copyrighted by TechSmith Corporation and is not in the
  19. public domain.  If this program is used longer than a 45-day 
  20. evaluation period, it must be registered.  The files that comprise the
  21. NewsMonger evaluation package, or the NewsMonger archive file, may be
  22. freely distributed or listed by software vendors as long as files in
  23. the package are kept together and are not modified.  However, written
  24. permission must be received to distribute NewsMonger on retail racks,
  25. CD Roms, or bundled with any other product.

  27. Disk Vendors, Shareware Distributors and BBSs may charge a nominal fee
  28. for distribution of NewsMonger.  However, the recipient of the
  29. software must be informed, in advance, that payment of the
  30. distribution fee does not replace, reduce or eliminate the NewsMonger
  31. Licensing requirement which applies to use after the evaluation
  32. period.

  52. TechSmith Corporation's NewsMonger agent for Microsoft Windows 95 & NT
  53. provides complete monitoring of the Internetís largest source of new
  54. information, the USENET news service. NewsMonger supports multiple
  55. searches, search scheduling and e-mail notification when new articles
  56. matching your criteria are discovered. NewsMonger works with Digitalís
  57. AltaVista search engine to provide a complete audit of the contents of
  58. all newsgroups. Of course, your search criteria can limit matches to
  59. specified newsgroups or exclude inappropriate newsgroups. After 
  60. creating and scheduling your searches, you can continue with your 
  61. other tasks -- NewsMonger will notify you or the appropriate person
  62. when a new article meeting your criteria is discovered.

  66. o  Constructs and refines the search query, or allows you to
  67.    directly create the query.

  69. o  Supports dozens of queries and thousands of matching postings.

  72.    Digitalís AltaVista engine, on demand, or as scheduled by you.

  94. NewsMonger requires Microsoft Windows 95, or Windows NT (3.51 or later),
  95. a permanent or dial-up connection to the Internet, a mouse or other
  96. pointing device, and for printed output, a Windows-supported printer.

  100. The NewsMonger single-user license fee is $39.95.
